Prior to enrolling in the 20-hour Risk Reduction Course, a participant must take an Assessment comprised of 130-questions which center on you and your lifestyle. The Assessment may take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete and the cost is $100.00 (fee is set by state law). Assessments may be taken by appointment or as a walk-in during office hours. Assessments must be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Friday for enrollment in a DUI/Drug Risk Reduction Course scheduled to begin on Saturday.
After completing the Assessment, the participant must enroll in a 20-hr. classroom course called a DUI/Drug Class or Risk Reduction Course. Participants must be on time for every session during the 20-hr. classroom course. Based on the strict rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Driver Services, late arrival is forbidden.
The fee for the Risk Reduction Course is $235.00. A student may not begin the course until the Assessment ($100) and the Risk Reduction Course ($235) have been paid in full.
Both an Assessment and Risk Reduction Intervention Contract must be signed by the participant. There is also a $20 course workbook fee. The total Risk Reduction Course fee is $355.00.
After successfully completing the 20-hr. course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
